A key factor in any a successful sourcing program is to
insure products are is made to the customer’s exact specifications.
To accomplish this, below is the proposed general guideline.
1. The customer must claim the quality requirement on the
suppliers when release a RFQ package . e.g: IPC , QS9000 /TS16949
or an ISO compliant factory.
2. When the supplier is selected , additional Manufacturing
Agreement or Quality Agreement is require to sign to define
the level of Acceptable Quality Level (AQL)..etc.
3. An inspection report should be sent to customer for review
together with the 1st Article Samples. The inspection report
should be reviewed by both the supplier’s QC and our quality
experts prior to shipping.
4. Once the 1st Article Samples are approved and the production
run is started, our quality experts again inspect the factory
to insure the quality control systems are functioning properly.
This includes randomly pulling product off the line and performing
an “in-process inspection” to insure the product meets the
customer’s specifications.
